Students of Landscape Planning at the State University Agricultural and Technical Institute, Farmingdale, Long Island, New York taking notes on the condition of a plant at the Grand Central Hospital, Manhattan as part of a class project involving problems that confront them when they work as plants men and designers after graduation. They had to provide acceptable solutions to the various problems that were in evidence when these pictures were taken.
