Veterans' Aid: Jewish War Veterans' of Kings County awards a certificate of Merit to Honorable Abraham D. Beame, Comptroller of the City of New York, for service as Chairman of the Welfare Committee of the Jewish War Veterans. Mr. Beame will continue to hold the Welfare Chairmanship for the next two years. The purpose of the Jewish War Veterans Welfare Committee is to continue the obligation of our citizens to maintain welfare and hospitalization services for all veterans.
